Chronic Pain Relief
Without More Meds

Rewire patterns in the brain and nervous system with hypnotherapy—a safe, recognized, non-drug approach to easing persistent pain.

in Stamford, CT, or Newtown, CT or online

Your Pain Is Real, and So Is
Your Body’s Ability to Heal

Chronic pain doesn’t always show up on scans or respond to typical treatments. But that doesn’t make it any less real. Pain is processed through the brain and nervous system, and sometimes those systems get stuck in patterns that are no longer helpful.

Hypnosis can help interrupt those patterns and offer your system a new experience—one where calm, regulation, and relief feel more within reach.

Many people come to hypnosis after trying everything else. Whether you're dealing with persistent symptoms or carrying the emotional weight of a long-term condition, this work offers a different kind of support. It helps you reconnect with your mind, your body, and the deeper part of you that knows how to heal.

When You’ve Tried

Everything Else,
Hypnosis Offers a
Different Way Forward

Female Hypnotherapy Client

There’s a part of you that already knows change is possible.

Even before you book a session, even just by reading this, something inside you may begin to soften. You’re giving your body and mind a new message: that change is possible, and relief is within reach.

When pain has been part of your life for a long time, it can feel like your body has forgotten how to feel at ease. But that ability to change—to reconnect with comfort—is still there. Hypnotherapy helps you access it in a gentle, natural way.

Even when the diagnosis is unclear or the way forward feels uncertain, hypnosis can help ease discomfort, settle your nervous system, and guide you back to a more grounded and centered state. It’s a gentle and empowering way to support change–rooted in science, and aligned with your inner wisdom.

Conditions Often
Helped by
Hypnotherapy

I support adults living with pain related to conditions such as:

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)

  • Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)

  • Tension Myositis Syndrome (TMS / Mindbody Syndrome)

  • Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS)

  • Central Sensitization Syndrome (CSS)

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and other stress-exacerbated conditions

  • Medically unexplained chronic pain (when nothing shows up on tests, but the pain is still very real)

You do not need a specific diagnosis to benefit. If you’re open to working with the mind-body connection and want to feel better, hypnosis may help.

Did you know that hypnotic pain relief is not only recognized as standard medical therapy in the United States, but also considered a proven best practice method for non-drug pain treatment?

Girl Relaxing

How Hypnosis Helps with Chronic Pain

Hypnosis creates a focused, relaxed state where your subconscious mind becomes more receptive to change. In that state, we can begin to gently shift how the brain processes pain, supporting new neural patterns and helping the nervous system move out of chronic fight-or-flight.

Some hypnotic methods can influence how the brain and body interact—helping calm the nervous system, shift patterns of pain perception, and support a deeper sense of comfort and ease. In certain conditions like FND or centralized pain, these approaches may also affect how different areas of the brain communicate. While each person’s experience is unique, many clients find that this work helps them reconnect with a greater sense of safety, agency, and relief.

We might use approaches such as:

  • Guided relaxation to calm the nervous system

  • Visualization tools like the “Control Room” to modulate pain perception

  • Glove Anesthesia to reconnect with sensations of comfort

  • Helping you uncover and shift inner beliefs or emotional patterns that the body may be holding onto

  • Post-hypnotic suggestions to reinforce positive change between sessions

You’ll remain in full control throughout the process. Most clients find the experience deeply calming—and sometimes even profound.

My Approach

I’m a certified hypnotherapist with training in chronic pain protocols. My role is to help you reconnect with your body’s natural ability to heal.

This work is a partnership. I don’t do something TO you. I work with you. Together, we create the conditions that help your system shift in a way that feels safe and supportive. I’ll be here to guide you, encourage you, and walk with you through the process. I use different techniques and tools based on what you need.

If you're in Fairfield County, Connecticut, including Stamford, Bethel, or Newtown-- or if you’re open to working together online, I’d be honored to help you explore this path.

Hypnotherapy is considered a complementary practice. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care. For chronic pain, I request a brief acknowledgement from your physician confirming that hypnosis is appropriate for you.
